The Best paper awards:

In each research session, the best presentations of the original paper would be given certificates of “The best paper” at the closing ceremony.



The Best Poster Presentation

Three best poster articles would be selected from poster presentations and cash prize of Rs.5000, 3000 and 2000 for 1st, 2nd & 3rd would be given respectively along with certificates at the closing ceremony.



Young technologist award:

Three best articles would be selected from the young technologist paper session for the Young Scientist / Technologist Awards. Eminent academicians would be in the selection committee for the entire selection process and the cash prize of Rs.10000, 5000 and 3000 for 1st, 2nd & 3rd would be given respectively along with certificates.


Prize of Karnataka science and technology academy (KSTA)

To help the budding postgraduate students and research scholars, lead lectures /invited talks are arranged on “Sustainable Water management – Innovative Geoinformatics” in the international conference to be held during 9-11 November, 2017 in Department of Geography & Geoinformatics, Bangalore University under the support of Karnataka Science & Technology Academy (KSTA), Government of Karnataka. This helps researchers and students to capture the knowledge of Geoinformatics (Remote Sensing, Global Positioning System & Geographic Information System) and use the same in their respective disciplines. This also makes them to get placements in MNCs. At the end, a test would be conducted to measure their understanding towards the Geospatial Technologies and their applications. The candidates who securer first, second and third position would be honored with certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, 6,000 & 4,000 under KSTA support.
